:blobwave: Hey team! I?ve been speaking to the awesome @harsh.mishra who is a DevRel over at LocalStack. We started our DevRel careers at the same time and it?s been really nice to see the epic work going on at LS. I?ve always thought it would be great to showcase Pact alongside LocalStack as it helps us continue our post deployment story, and also show some complex e2e examples without needing users to rely on AWS spend! :burning_money: Harsh pointed out an AWS serverless sample that utilises Pact https://github.com/aws-samples/aws-serverless-microservice-contract-testing and over in SmartBear DevRel we setup LocalStack against one of AWS examples https://github.com/SmartBear-DevRel/SwaggerHub-AWSGateway-Lambda/tree/localstack-hardened Thought we would open up a channel of communication to help work on some projects, and maybe line up some webinars and material in the future. Public channel means that we can invite others into the fold in they want to join in on the journey!

Hey Harsh - nice to e-meet you, and welcome to our community :bow: . Love open stack, I used it heaps back in the day as a consultant (specialising in AWS) and we use it here at PactFlow also in various places.

I wonder if we should suggest they add an extra back-end / dependency of the Order Service, so that we can demonstrate how to handle a more complicated architecture? (i.e. they would need to stub it in the current provider test, which is something our customers always struggle with)?

Hi @yousafn ? Thanks for setting this up! I will get onto making sure that both the samples are functional on LocalStack, and we can take it from there :smile: @matt.fellows ? I believe instead of pinging AWS, we can fork it on our end (at https://github.com/localstack-samples) and adding additional dependencies. We have some more samples that showcase more complex scenarios, so we can opt to go for one of those and get it working as well :muscle:
